Olio at
the MGM Grand
This town of Las Vegas is always seeing something new and Olio at the MGM
Grand's Studio Walk touts that it is not just a restaurant, but another world.
Eight-foot flames dance in an oversized dining room fireplace; Italian ices and
desserts are literally off the wall, in a frigid pastel wall; guests can sip
vintage wine from a collection of more than 9,000 bottles while sitting on a
liquid leather barstool. All that along with Malossol Beluga caviar service, a
private screening of the `Sopranos’ and a 100 foot long tiger wood entrance
that brings guests into Olio where they can pull up a chair at the world longest
40-foot- antipasto table - relax at the lounge while surfing the menu or plug
their laptop into the wall and surf the Internet. Acclaimed architectural firm,
Jeffrey Beers International, created this multi-sensory playground at Olio. His
previous designs include Rumjungle and China Grill in MANDALAY BAY and Disney’s
Animal Kingdom Safari Lodge in Orlando, Florida. By Adele
