One of the best-known comedy
clubs in the city, Caroline's has been at its Times Square location since
1992, boasting some of the greatest comedy acts in the country. There's a
two-drink minimum on top of the cover, so be prepared to spend some money.
Reservations are necessary, and it's best to be there a half hour before the
show begins. Sorry, budding Seinfelds: there's no amateur night.

Laugh away life's misery at the Bad Dog Comedy Theater,
which features a 300-seat theater, two classy bars, which are always open for
happy hour, and gobs of parking. The Bad Dog is open every night and presents
sketch comedy, improv, one-person shows, plays and independent film
screenings. It also offers comedy classes for adults and kids as well as
banquet facilities available for corporate and private parties.

If it's laughter you seek, the
Sandy Springs Punchline is the place to be. showcasing over 17 years of
the nationa hottest talent, its "Comedian Wall of Fame" serves as a
visual testimony of the many who have passed through its enclosures on the way
toward comedy success.
Recent acts have included Anthony
Clark and 1996 Best Male Stand-up winner, Brian Regan, as well as comedy
veterans John Stewart and Richard Lewis. Appearing regularly as a
headliner is Damon Wayans, star of such films as "Mo Money",
"Major Payne", and "Celtic Pride", and co-star of the
comedy blockbuster "Bullitproof" with Adam Sandler. Also
appearing is Lowell Sanders, who has appeared in shows like "Home
Improvement" and VH1's Stand-up Spotlight, funnyman Jim David, Billy
Elmer and Tommy Blaze.
The Punchline is open Tuesday
through Sunday and features a lite dinner menue and full service bar.
Thursdays and the 8 p.m. Friday show are always smoke free. ticket
prices range from $5 - $30 depending on the night of the week. For
