A 20,000-square-foot theme park for
those who have been there done that, your journey begins as you are met by a
27 foot high wall of dancing flames suspended over a moat. passing through an
opening in this wall of flames, you discover the contrasting cool rush of
waterfall and a space of epic proportions, with soaring cathedral ceilings and
three dining levels (each with their own unique personality) to experience. A
cavernous restroom that separates the men and women's areas by a wall with
translucent glass inlays, something out of a David E. Kelly script.
Complete with the world's largest rum
bar, measuring 85 feet in length on the main dining platform and rising 19
feet high, offering an extensive drink menu, including more than 100 varieties
of aged, spiced, flavored and infused rums the world over - the Lava Flow is a
great start to a fantastic evening.
Third level is the hottest of all,
featuring open fire pits for preparing the lavish host of taste temptations. A
DJ booth, which provides the pulsating beats as Rum Jungle roars to life, is,
poised over the fire pits.
You will definitely work up an
appetite with all the action here, and Rum jungle's food menu featuring fiery
skewers is just as exotic as the atmosphere. Make certain you ask for a menu
right away because with the unlimited selections you will need extra time to
make your exotic selections. Let me save you time, the coconut Shrimp, Codfish
Fritters and the "dreaded" fried onion rings to share, the Fire Pit
and their banana split (you're not in Kansas anymore, the bananas are fried.)
After dinner dance the night away to
the coolest Latin, Caribbean and African Rhythms, RumJungle provides the
hottest dance floor around - right next to the open fire pits - featuring the
world's two largest Congo drums, "the dueling congas," that rise
from the floor, exotic dancers and a roaring native musician in a percussion
suit playing his body through the incredible sound system via infrared
