Best known to audiences for his
role as Vinnie Bonitardi on Blossom, David Lascher returns to Sabrina,
the Teenage Witch this season as Josh, a graduate student who runs a
coffeehouse and has become the object of Sabrina's affections.
Lascher's acting career began
in junior high when he appeared in commercials and musical theater. It was his
performance in a musical revue in his hometown of New York City that caught
the eye of an agent and led to his first break: the Nickelodeon series Hey
Dude! Next, Lascher landed a role in the television series A Family For
Joe, starring Robert Mitchum and Juliette Lewis.
Lascher made his feature film
debut in Ridley Scott's White Squall, co-starring with Jeff Bridges,
Ryan Phillippe and Scott Wolf. The role he takes the greatest pride in is the
movie A Call to Remember, co-starring opposite Joe Montegna and Blythe
Danner, in which Lascher played the son of Holocaust survivors.
Lascher starred in the first
full season of Clueless and also made recurring appearances in the
early years of Beverly Hills, 90210. Other television work includes
appearances on Veronica's Closet, and a recurring role as the uncle of
Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen on Two of a Kind.
Lascher's dramatic abilities have been showcased
in a number of television movies including She Says She's Innocent, The
Flood: Who Will Save Our Children?, Cries Unheard: The Donna Yaklick Story
and Playing to Win: A Moment of Truth Movie.
Lascher loves basketball and is
a confessed Knicks fanatic. He currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
